Associate professor at Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, journalist and PhD in Sociology. Her research has focused on journalism practice and the quality of journalistic work, specifically on the logistical, emotional, ethical, and professional challenges and risks that journalists face during critical coverage. She is a co-investigator of the Worlds of Journalism project for Chile and has led various works on the precariousness of journalistic labor and threats faced by the profession.
